The Service Approach I Live By 

Even though I have been a lender for more than 50 years, I can’t approve every loan or win every rate battle — no one can. But here’s what I can do, every single time:

  1. Listen fully — with all eyes, ears, and attention on the customer.
  2. Show true understanding by asking thoughtful questions and confirming what I hear.
  3. Gather complete information and analyze it carefully so nothing gets overlooked.
  4. Study the available products to match each customer with the best possible solution.
  5. Be honest and transparent about what I can do — and equally clear about what I cannot.
  6. Communicate proactively, keeping customers informed with clarity and purpose.
  7. Provide the information they need to make the decision that’s best for them, not me.
  8. Stay calm, patient, and respectful, no matter the situation or stress level.
  9. Explain the forms, numbers, and details in a way that makes everything simple and understandable.
  10. Be approachable and friendly, treating everyone — customers and non-customers — with the same openness and respect.
